撥胷 (the first character is pronounced bō; the Guangya says: '撥 means to eliminate.' The Shuowen jiezi says it is composed with the hand radical and fā as the phonetic. The second character is xù + gōng fanqie [xiōng]; the Shuowen jiezi says: '胷 means the chest.' Composed with the radical 勹 and xiōng as the phonetic; in transmitted texts it is written with the flesh radical, which is also acceptable).
