Not stained (弗涅: the second character is pronounced 年 [nián] + 結 [jié] fanqie. Kong's commentary on the Analects says: '涅 is used to dye black.' The Shuowen says: 'Black mud in the water. It takes 水 as semantic classifier and 圼 as phonetic,' 圼 having the same sound as above).
