Throwing game-discs (擲碢; tú-hé fan [tuó]; round, thin, and small, shaped like a grinding weight, thrown by hand as a game, also called pāotuó [hurling weights]; those who speak of throwing dice (zhìchū) refer to this. It is a regional dialect of the Jiangnan region of Wu and Yue, not standard language of the classics and histories. This character originally did not exist, and scholars wrote it at will, hence it has no fixed form. Here both are recorded, though it is unknown which is correct: the Jixun writes it with tǔ 土 as 𡐦; the Kaosheng writes it with shí 石 as 磗; the Yunquan writes it with mù 木 as 槩; the Wenziji lüe and the Yunying write it with shí 石 as tuó 碢, which is provisionally taken as correct now).
