譌廢（上五戈反尚書譌化也鄭箋詩云譌偽也郭注爾雅代以𰴁言為譌言說文從言為聲傳文多作訛俗字也亦通也）。

Corrupted and discarded (譌廢; the first character is wǔ-gē fan [é]. The Shangshu says: 'É means transform.' Zheng's commentary on the Classic of Poetry says: 'É means false.' Guo's commentary on the Erya says: 'Generations took deceitful speech to be corrupted speech.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Derived from yán 言 [speech] with wéi 為 as phonetic.' The transmission text mostly writes it as é 訛, a vulgar character, though also acceptable).
