降蹕（下音畢鄭注周禮云蹕謂止行者清道也若今之警蹕也文字典說從足畢聲）。
Halting the retinue (降蹕: the second character is pronounced 畢 [bì]. Zheng's commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: '蹕 means halting pedestrians to clear the road; like modern imperial heralds clearing the way.' The Wenzi dianshuo says: 'It takes 足 as semantic classifier and 畢 as phonetic').
