接紐（女九反上聲字衣紐結也廣雅紐束也結而不可解者說文從糸丑聲也）。

接紐 [fastening buttons / tying a knot] (Pronounced with the fanqie 女九 [niǔ]; it is a rising-tone character. It means a button or knot of a garment. The Guangya says: '紐 means to bind; that which is tied and cannot be untied.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It derives from 糸 [silk] with 丑 as phonetic').
