嗟惋（上精耶反咨嗟嘆也下椀奐反文字集略云惋謂驚惕惋嘆也惋恨也說文從心宛聲也忸怩驚怛也）。

Jiewan 嗟惋 (The first character has the fanqie 精耶: to sigh, to lament. The second character has the fanqie 椀奐. The Wenzi jilüe states: "Wan means to be startled and alarmed, to sigh with regret; to resent." The Shuowen jiezi states: "It takes the heart radical with wǎn as phonetic." It denotes feeling ashamed, startled, and distressed.)
