秸（古八反孔注尚書云秸猶稾也玉篇云禾穀藁草也槀音高老反說文又作稭古文秸字也）。

Jie 秸 (Fanqie: 古八. Kong Anguo's commentary on the Shangshu states: "Jie is like straw." The Yupian states: "Straw and stalks of cereal grain." The character gǎo has the fanqie 高老. The Shuowen jiezi also writes it as 稭, which is the ancient character for jie.)
