餬口（上音胡爾雅云餬饘也郭璞注云餬亦麋也說文云亦謂寄食為餬口從食胡聲）。

餬口 (The first character has the sound 胡 [hú]. The Erya says: "'Hú' means thick congee (饘)." Guo Pu's commentary says: "'Hú' is also thick congee (糜)." The Shuowen says: "It also refers to relying on others for food as 'húkǒu' [scraping together a living]. It takes 食 [food] as its radical and 胡 as its phonetic component").
