般闋（下犬悅反毛詩傳云闋息也鄭注儀禮云闋終也蒼頡篇云訖也說文從門癸聲）。

般闋 (The second character has the fanqie phonetic spelling 犬 [quǎn] + 悅 [yuè], [què]. The Mao Commentary to the Shijing says: "'Què' means to cease." Zheng Xuan's commentary to the Yili says: "'Què' means to end." The Cang Jie pian says: "It means finished." The Shuowen says: "It takes 門 [gate] as its radical and 癸 as its phonetic component").
