砥礪（上音止下音厲孔注尚書云砥礪皆磨石也前第三卷已釋訖）。
砥礪 (The first character has the sound 止 [zhǐ]; the second character has the sound 厲 [lì]. Kong Anguo's commentary to the Shangshu says: "'Dǐ' and 'lì' are both whetstones." They have already been explained in the third fascicle above).
