汪濊（上艧黃反艧音尫郭反杜注左傳云汪污池也楚辭注云大水深廣也下隈外反韓詩云水浸流也說云濊疑流也從水歲聲正體歲字也）。

Vast and deep (汪濊: the upper character has the fanqie huo-huang [wang]; the character 艧 has the fanqie wang-guo [huò]. Du's commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: '汪 is a stagnant pool.' The commentary to the Chuci says: 'Vast waters, deep and wide.' The lower character has the fanqie wei-wai [hui]. The Han commentary to the Shijing says: 'Water flowing copiously.' The Shuowen says: '濊 is water flowing profusely; it is derived from "water" [水] and phonetic sui [歲], which is the standard form of the character sui [歲].').
