挻埴 [kneading clay]: The first character is read with the fanqie shan + ran (shān). The second character is read with the fanqie cheng + shi (zhí). The Laozi has: 'Kneading clay to make vessels.' Heshanggong's commentary says: 'Shān means to blend; zhí means clay.'
