淹漬（上掩炎反左傳久浸也下慈寺反說文漬漚也亦浸也）。
淹漬 'Submerge and soak' (The first character has the fanqie [掩炎, *ʔjem*]. The Zuo Commentary says: 'To steep for a long time.' The second character has the fanqie [慈寺, *dzjI*]. The Shuowen states: '漬 means to macerate (漚); it also means to soak.').
