僅免（上音覲廣雅云僅少也何休注公羊傳云劣也說文從人堇聲堇音謹也）。

Barely escaping (僅免: the first character has the sound jìn. The Guangya says: "Jin (僅) means few/scant." He Xiu's commentary on the Gongyang zhuan says: "Inferior/scarcely." The Shuowen says: "Formed from [the radical] 人 (person) with 堇 as phonetic; 堇 has the sound jǐn").
