鴆毒（上除禁反山海經云女几山多鴆鳥郭璞注云鴆紫緣色長鵛赤喙食虵鳥也從鳥冘聲字淫喙吁衛反下同祿反說文云害人草也從屮毒聲屮恥列反）。

鴆毒 (the first character has the fanqie chu + jin [zhèn]; the Shanhaijing says: "Mount Nüji has many poison-birds (鴆鳥)." Guo Pu's commentary says: "The zhen has purple edges, a long tassel, a red beak, and is a bird that eats snakes; it has the bird radical and chen phonetic." The beak character yin is fanqie xu + wei [huì]; the second character has the fanqie tong + lu [dú]; the Shuowen says: "It is a plant harmful to people; it has the sprout radical and du phonetic; the sprout character chè has the fanqie chi + lie [chè].")
