薉矣（上於喙反字書亦正從禾作穢穢蕪也亦不清潔也又惡也古今正字義同從禾歲聲亦從草作薉與傳文同也）。

It is foul (薉矣: the first character is fanqie yu + hui [huì]. Character dictionaries also properly write it with 禾 as 穢; huì means overgrown with weeds; it also means unclean, and furthermore evil. The Gujin zhengzi gives the same meaning: formed from [the radical] 禾 (grain) with 歲 as phonetic. It is also written with 草 (grass) as 薉, which matches the transmission's text).
