Xianyun (獫狁: the first character is pronounced 險 [xiǎn]; the second character is pronounced 尹 [yǔn]; character dictionaries correctly write it as 玁狁; it was already explained in the twelfth fascicle of the earlier Gaoseng zhuan; the transmitted text writing 獫 is also acceptable).
