巉巖（上仕衫反王逸注楚辭云巉巖險阻也廣雅云高也古今正字云巉巖二字皆從山毚嚴亦聲也）。

Craggy peaks (巉巖: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 仕衫 [chán]. Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci states: '巉巖 means precipitous and rugged.' The Guangya states: 'It means high.' The Gujin zhengzi states: 'Both characters 巉巖 take the "mountain" radical, with 毚 and 嚴 also serving as phonetics').
