眄睞（上眠遍反說文云眄邪視也從目丐聲丐音沔下來岱反蒼頡篇云睞目視也說文云瞳子不正也從目來聲或作䚅音同）。

Glancing askance (眄睞) (the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 眠遍 [mián + biàn -> miàn]; the Shuowen says: '眄 means looking sidelong; it is composed of the eye radical (目) with 丐 phonetic, 丐 pronounced miǎn'; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 來岱 [lái + dài -> lài]; the Cang Jie pian says: '睞 means looking with the eyes'; the Shuowen says: 'It means the pupils are not centered; it is composed of the eye radical (目) with 來 phonetic'; it is also written 䚅 with the same sound).
