砭疾（悲驗反字書正從卪作𰦤又作砭剌也廣雅云砭謂之刺也文字典說云砭石針用刺病也從石乏聲說文亦云以石㓨病也從石乏聲也）。

bianji 砭疾 (The first character has the fanqie bei + yan [b-]. In character books it correctly takes 卪, written as 𰦤; it is also written as 砭, meaning to puncture. The Guangya says: "Bian means to pierce." The Wenzidian shuo says: "A bian stone is a needle used to prick illness. It takes the stone radical and has fa as phonetic." The Shuowen also says: "To pierce illness with a stone; it takes the stone radical and has fa as phonetic").
