啜菽（上川爇反爇音儒拙反說文啜甞也或作歠音同上傳文作啜俗字也下詩育反毛詩傳云菽豆也考聲正作尗傳作叔俗字也）。

chuoshu 啜菽 (The first character has the fanqie chuan + re [ch-]. Re has the fanqie ru + zhuo [r-]. The Shuowen says: "Chuo means to taste." It is also written as 歠, with the same sound as above. In the transmitted text it is written as 啜, which is a vulgar character. The second character has the fanqie shi + yu [sh-]. The commentary on the Mao Classic of Poetry says: "Shu means beans." The Kaosheng says it is properly written as 尗; the transmitted text writes 叔, which is a vulgar character).
