lingsi 淩凘 (The first character has the fanqie li + cheng [l-]. Zheng's commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: "Ling is a sound." The second character has the fanqie ci + zi [s-]. The Shuowen says: "Si means flowing ice; it takes the ice radical and has si as phonetic").
