錙銖（上滓師反鄭注禮記云八兩為錙說文從金甾聲甾音淄下音殊從金從朱聲傳文作淄洙水名非也）。

錙銖 ('minute amounts / ounces and drams': the first character has the fanqie 滓師 [zǐ + shī]. Zheng's commentary to the Liji says: 'Eight liang make a 錙.' The Shuowen states that it is derived from 金 (metal) with 甾 as phonetic; 甾 is pronounced 淄. The second character has the sound 殊, derived from 金 (metal) with 朱 as phonetic. In the transmission text it is written as 淄洙, which are river names, and therefore incorrect).
