錙銖(上滓師反下樹朱反鄭注禮記云八兩為錙許注淮南子云十二粟而重一分十二分為一銖說文云錙六銖也銖權分十黍之重也二字竝從金甾朱聲甾音同上)。

錙銖 ('Trifling amount'; the first character has the fanqie 滓 + 師 [zī], the second has the fanqie 樹 + 朱 [zhū]. Zheng's commentary on the Liji says: 'Eight liang make a zi.' Xu's commentary on the Huainanzi says: 'Twelve millet grains weigh one fen; twelve fen make one zhu.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'A zi is six zhu; a zhu is a weight-division equal to the weight of ten broomcorn millet grains.' Both characters are composed with "metal" (金) as semantic element, with 甾 and 朱 as phonetics. 甾 has the same sound as above.)
