龍衮（古本反鄭箋毛詩云衣而畫以龍也郭注爾雅袤衣有蔽文也說文天子享先王卷龍繡於下裳愊一龍蟠阿從衣公聲也）。

龍衮 ('Dragon robe'; the fanqie is 古 + 本 [gǔn]. Zheng's commentary on the Classic of Poetry says: 'Garment painted with dragons.' Guo's commentary on the Erya says: 'A ceremonial robe with patterned borders.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'When the Son of Heaven offers sacrifice to the ancestral kings, coiling dragons are embroidered on the lower skirts; one coiled dragon winds along the hem; composed with "clothing" (衣) as semantic element and 公 as phonetic element.')
