糜損 ('Crumbled and wasted'; the first character has the fanqie 美 + 悲 [méi]. The Guangya says: 'Mei means ruined.' Wang's commentary on the Chuci says: 'Shattered.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Composed with "rice" (米) as semantic element and 麻 as phonetic element.')
