招愆（朅焉反孔注尚書云諐過也杜注左傳云失也說文云此𰪡文諐字正作愆義同從心衍聲或作㥶[(彳*言*亍)/心][羊*(巟-亡+口)]𲃌並同也）。

招愆 [zhāoqiān, incurring faults] (The second character has the fanqie 朅焉 [qiè + yān]. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: 'Qiān means transgression.' Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: 'An error.' The Shuowen says: 'This is the seal-script form of the character 諐; the standard form is 愆 with the same meaning.' It takes 心 as semantic and 衍 as phonetic. It is also written as 㥶, [(彳*言*亍)/心], [羊*(巟-亡+口)], or 𲃌, all being identical).
