孱然（上棧焉反考聲云孱顏不齊皃也[仁-二+(而/火)]弱也說文穿也一云呻吟也從孨在尸下孨音剪）。

Feeble and uneven (孱然) (The upper character has the fanqie 棧焉 [chán]. The Kaosheng says: "Chan-yan 孱顏 describes an uneven appearance; it also means weak and frail." The Shuowen says: "To bore through; one source says to groan; it is composed of 孨 under 尸." 孨 is pronounced 剪 [jiǎn]).
