頡頏（上賢結反下鶴郎反考聲云頡頏乍高乍下也說文頡直項也從頁吉聲古今正字頏咽也從頁亢聲也）。

Soaring and descending (頡頏) (The upper character has the fanqie 賢結 [xié]; the lower character has the fanqie 鶴郎 [háng]. The Kaosheng says: "Xiehang 頡頏 means suddenly going high and suddenly going low." The Shuowen says: "Xie 頡 means a straight neck; it takes 頁 'head' as semantic and 吉 as phonetic." The Gujin zhengzi says: "Hang 頏 means the throat; it takes 頁 'head' as semantic and 亢 as phonetic").
