西櫺（歷丁反方言云屋梠謂之櫺蒼頡篇櫺檻楯間也說文楯間子也從木霝聲梠音呂楯音順也）。

西櫺 [xilíng, western lattice-window] (The second character has the fanqie 歷丁 [lì + dīng]. The Fangyan says: 'Eaves-rafters (lǚ) of a house are called líng.' The Cangjie pian says: 'Líng refers to the spaces between balcony railings (jiànshǔn).' The Shuowen says: 'The upright slats between railings.' It takes 木 as semantic and 霝 as phonetic. 梠 has the pronunciation 呂 [lǚ]; 楯 has the pronunciation 順 [shùn]).
