播殖 [bōzhí, to sow and plant] (The first character has the fanqie 波磨 [bō + mó]; the second has the fanqie 時力 [shí + lì]. Zheng's commentary on the Mao Shi says: 'Bō is like sowing (zhòng).' The Shuowen also says: 'To sow'; another source says: 'To scatter.' It takes 手 as semantic and 番 as phonetic. The collected edition writes it as 簸, which belongs to winnowing baskets and is not the character for sowing).
