麛𡖉（音迷鄭注周禮云麛麋鹿之子也說文從鹿弭聲弭音彌旨反麋音美悲反）。

"Fawns and eggs" (麛𡖉): [麛 is] pronounced mi. Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: 'Mi is the young of elk and deer.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It has the deer radical (鹿) and mi (弭) phonetic.' 弭 is pronounced mi + zhi (mi). Elk (麋) is pronounced mei + bei (mi).
