Overturned nest (鋤交 fanqie [cháo]. The Mao Commentary on the Classic of Poetry says: 'The magpie building its nest.' The Shuowen says: 'A bird's nest in a tree; analyzed as from 木, pictographic.' The collected edition writes it with the hand radical as 摷, pronounced 責交 fanqie, which does not convey the meaning of 'nest'; the correct form is indeed this 巢).
