𡗢父（苦蝸反栝地志云𡗢父與曰逐走入曰渴比飲大澤未至道渴而死也冲虛經云𡗢父死棄其尸膏肉所浸生鄧林之彌數千里也孫綽子云鄧林有木圍三萬尋直上千里傍蔭數國也）。

𡗢父 (The fanqie is [苦 + 蝸]: kuā. The Kuodi zhi says: “Kuafu raced with the sun, chased it until the sun set, grew thirsty, and before he could reach the Great Marsh to drink, died of thirst on the way.” The Chongxu jing says: “When Kuafu died, his corpse was abandoned, and where his fat and flesh soaked the earth, Deng Forest grew over several thousand li.” Sun Chuozi says: “In Deng Forest there are trees thirty thousand fathoms in circumference, reaching straight up a thousand li, providing shade across several states.”)
