𣹆死 (pronounced *kǒu-hé* [kē]. The *Chuci* says: 'Rather than perish suddenly (*kē*) into exile and death.' Wang [Yi]'s commentary says: *Kē* is like *yǎn* [sudden]. The *Gujin zhengzi* states: It is formed from 'water' with *hé* phonetic; *hé* is properly formed from 'large' and 'blood', but writing it with 'go' as 盇 is a vulgar form).
