受脤（臣忍反鄭注周禮脤皆社稷宗廟之肉也杜注左傳云冝社之肉盛之以脤器故曰脤公羊傳云生日脤熟曰膰說文從示作祳膰音煩也）。

受脤 (Chen-ren [shèn]. Zheng [Xuan's] commentary on the Zhouli states: 'Shen refers to sacrificial meat offered to the altars of soil and grain and the ancestral temple.' Du [Yu's] commentary on the Zuo zhuan states: 'The meat sacrificed at the altar of soil is contained in shen vessels, hence it is called shen.' The Gongyang zhuan states: 'Raw [sacrificial meat] is called shen; cooked is called fan.' The Shuowen has it with the altar classifier as 祳. Fan is pronounced fan [fán].)
