寒凘 (Cold drifting ice: pronounced *sī* [fanqie: 賜諮]. Wang Yi's commentary on the *Songs of Chu* states: "*Sī* is melting ice." The *Shuowen jiezi* states: "Drifting ice." Classified under 'ice' (冫) with 斯 as phonetic. In the collected text it is written with 'water' as 凘, which is the name of a river in the Northern Sea).
