Biting the skin (噆膚) (the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 子荅 [zǐ + dá = zā]: Zhuangzi says, "Mosquitoes feed on the skin, so that one cannot sleep the whole night through." The Picang says: "To bite." The Shuowen says: "𠯗 means to hold in the mouth." Or, according to the Kaosheng, it is properly written as 𠯗).
