婉娩（上冤遠反下無返反考聲婉娩婦人柔順皃也鄭注禮記云娩媚也說文婉順也並從女集從曰作晼曰部無此字晚謂日暮也未詳其深義）。

Gentle and compliant (婉娩) (the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 冤遠 [yuān + yuǎn = wǎn]; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 無返 [wú + fǎn = wǎn]: the Kaosheng says, "婉娩 describes the gentle and compliant deportment of a woman." Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary to the Liji says, "娩 means charming." The Shuowen says, "婉 means compliant"; both characters are classified under the radical 女. The Collected [Edition] writes the second character with the radical 曰 as 晼; the 曰 section has no such character; 晚 means evening, and its deeper meaning is unclear here).
