橚苯䔿（上所昱反考聲橚林木皃也說文長水皃也從木肅聲中盆本反下尊損反顧野王云苯䔿謂[卄/手]茸也說文草茂聚也並從草本尊皆聲[卄/手]麩風反茸音辱容反也）。

Lush and clustering 橚苯䔿 (the first character is pronounced [所 + 昱] *sù*. The Kaosheng states: "*Su* [橚] is the appearance of forest trees." The Shuowen says: "The appearance of flowing water." It takes 木 [wood] as radical and 肅 as phonetic. The middle character is pronounced [盆 + 本] *běn*. The bottom character is pronounced [尊 + 損] *zǔn*. Gu Yewang says: "*Benzun* [苯䔿] means dense and tangled." The Shuowen says: "Lush clustering of vegetation." Both take 艸 [grass] as radical, with 本 and 尊 as their respective phonetics. [卄/手] is pronounced [麩 + 風] *fēng*, and 茸 is pronounced [辱 + 容] *róng*).
