蘿蔦徬（上音羅次音鳥毛詩云蔦與女蘿施於松栢也說文蔦寄生草也從草鳥聲下蒲曠反說文徬附行也從彳旁聲集從草作蒡非也）。

蘿蔦徬 (The upper character has the sound of 羅 [luo]; the next character has the sound of 鳥 [niao]. The Shijing says: "The cypress-mistletoe and the maiden-vine cling to the pine and cypress." The Shuowen says: "蔦 is a parasitic plant; it is formed from 'grass' (艸) and '鳥' is phonetic." The lower character has the fanqie pu + kuang. The Shuowen says: "徬 means walking along relying on another; it is formed from 'step' (彳) and '旁' is phonetic." The collection writes it with 'grass' as 蒡, which is incorrect.)
