左眷（厥願反孔注尚書云眷視也毛詩傳云眷謂反顧也說文從目龹龹亦聲集從目作睠非也）。

Looking left 左眷 (pronounced [厥 + 願] *juàn*. Kong [Anguo]'s commentary to the Shangshu states: "*Juan* [眷] means to look." The Mao Commentary to the Shijing says: "*Juan* means to look back." The Shuowen says it takes 目 [eye] as radical with 龹 as both phonetic and meaning. In the anthology it is written with 目 as 睠, which is incorrect).
