僶俛（蜜牝反下眉辨反考聲僶俛謂不倦息也毛詩傳云僶俛勉也說文俛從人免聲僶或從冈作黽）。

Striving diligently 僶俛 (the first character is pronounced [蜜 + 牝] *mǐn*; the bottom character is pronounced [眉 + 辨] *miǎn*. The Kaosheng states: "*Minmian* [僶俛] means to be untiring." The Mao Commentary to the Shijing says: "*Minmian* means exerting effort." The Shuowen says that 俛 takes 人 [person] as radical and 免 as phonetic; 僶 is sometimes written with 冈 as 黽).
