蔽祄（上必袂反下皆械反廣雅云祄㓨膝也考聲謂袴也說文祄袥也亦㓨膝也從衣介亦聲袥音湯洛反）。

Knee-coverings 蔽祄 (the first character is pronounced [必 + 袂] *bì*; the bottom character is pronounced [皆 + 械] *jiè*. The Guangya states: "*Jie* [祄] is knee-coverings." The Kaosheng says: "It refers to trousers." The Shuowen says: "*Jie* means *tuo*, which is also knee-coverings." It takes 衣 [clothing] as radical with 介 as both phonetic and meaning. 袥 is pronounced [湯 + 洛] *tuò*).
