賣鱓 (Selling eels: pronounced *shàn* [fanqie: 蟬展]. The *Kaosheng* notes it is the name of a fish. The *Classic of Mountains and Seas* states that it is a slippery fish. Guo [Pu's] commentary states: "The *shàn* fish resembles a snake." The *Shuowen jiezi* notes it is classified under 'fish' (魚) with 單 as phonetic).
