豺犬（床皆反郭注爾雅云豺脚似狗也說文狼屬也從豸才聲豸音池爾反集從犬作𤝔無此字非也）。

豺犬 (Dhole hound: pronounced *chái* [fanqie: 床皆]. Guo [Pu's] commentary on the *Erya* states: "The dhole's paws resemble those of a dog." The *Shuowen jiezi* states: "A creature of the wolf genus." Classified under 'beast' (豸) with 才 as phonetic; 豸 is pronounced *zhì* [fanqie: 池爾]. In the collected text it is written with 'dog' as 𤝔; there is no such character, which is incorrect).
