Harps, lutes, and hand-cymbals (鐃: *nriw-xaw* [fanqie: 女交], shaped like bells but larger. The Guangya says: 'The he, luan, nao, duo, and ling are all bells.' The Shuowen and Yupian say: 'Small gongs (zheng). In military regulations, the commander of ten holds the nao; five men form a squad (wu), five squads form a liang; the two marshals hold the duo').
