霑溼 (the first character is zhāng + lián fanqie [zhān]; the Guangya says: '霑 means to soak.' The Han Commentary on the Book of Odes says it means to submerge; the Gujin zhengzi gives it as composed with the rain radical and zhān as the phonetic. The second character is shēn + rù fanqie [shī]; the Shuowen jiezi says: 'Dark and moist.' Composed with the water radical and shī as the phonetic; [一/(ㄠ*〡*ㄠ)/工] is pronounced the same as above).
