Errors and mistakes (紕繆: the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 疋彌 [p- + -ie = pī]. The Kaosheng says: 'Silk about to tear.' The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 明救 [m- + -iəu = miù]. A dictionary says: 'Disorder; error.' The Liji says: 'If a single thing is erroneous and confused (紕繆), the common people will not die a natural death.' Zheng's commentary says: 'Pi (紕) means mistaken.' The Zilin writes it as 紕繆; the character 繆 means erroneous and mistaken; to err. 繆 is also pronounced with the fanqie 武休 [m- + -ɨəu = miù]).
